Agata Jóźwiak

I aim at simplicity.

The tools that I use at my work are simple. They include natural bristle paint brushes, black ink, water and paper. I paint nature, so I depict first of all landscapes. However, I also paint animals, trees, fruit, vegetables and sometimes people.

I admire old Chinese and Japanese masters, anonymous artists of the Middle Ages and nature itself. It is there where I find the best pattern and inspiration. Old European and Far Eastern traditions of art are a source of knowledge for me and I find them very inspirational.

Music and silence plays more and more important role in the process of creating my paintings.
